Butler, New Jersey, Tuesday, July 16, 2019
Do you have an interest in history? Have you ever wondered about Butler's past? Do you have skills that you would like to use in new ways? Are you looking for an interesting way to spend some of your free time? Stop in and visit us. You may find an attraction to the glory days of Butler that you didn't know you had. We are always looking for volunteers who will serve as members of the Museum Committee or who would like to be Associate members. High School and College students are welcome.

The Butler Museum cannot operate without volunteers who wish to preserve the borough's history and who will maintain the museum for the public to visit.

Cataloging and inventorying our collections is a major project that is ongoing by the museum members. It is safe to say, though, that we have thousands of items among all of our collections. The artifacts displayed in the museum have been loaned or donated to us by friends of the museum.

The museum is always interested in adding more materials that relate to the history of the borough and the surrounding areas. If you are interested in donating objects to our collections, please call us at 973-838-7222, email us butlermuseumnj@optonline.net, fax us at 973-283-9895, write to us at The Butler Museum, One Ace Road, Butler, NJ 07405, or visit us on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the train station on Main Street.

Do you have a collection that you would like to display at the museum? We would welcome your call and would be glad to work with you to have your collection on temporary exhibit here.
